Domestic Sanitary Pumps

A dwelling's waste pipes are generally connected to its main waste stack using a gravity feed. There are circumstances where it's difficult or not possible to do this. Examples might be for a bathroom and/or toilet in a basement, or where a new toilet is required on a side of the building away from the main soil stack, making the required pipe work impractical for a gravity feed. Domestic use sanitary pumps allow the installation of bathrooms and toilets in such circumstances. There are a number of different types of pump for the different types of source of waste water:

Macerator Pumps

A macerator will reduce solid waste to a fluid and pump it to the main soil pipe. They are available for toilets only or combinations of toilets, basins, bidets and showers.

Grey Water Pumps

These waste water pumps are used in similar circumstances to macerators but deal only with waste water from showers and sinks.

Dishwasher and/or Washing Machine Pumps

Similar to a grey water pump, these can cater for the same sources and in addition can handle the hotter water from dishwashers and washing machines.
