Mono Pumps
Mono have been at the forefront of progressive cavity pump design since 1935. With the experience gained from over 65 years we are able to reflect the varying needs of out extensive customer base worldwide, with an all-round efficiency and quality which our customers demand.
Mono Progressing Cavity Pumps
The progressing cavity pump principle is ideal for handling liquids that can be slurries, viscous, shear sensitive, 2 or 3 phase mixtures or when applications require, significant suction lift capabilities.
The principle inherent in the pump design is ideally suited for both low to high flow applications.
The heart of the Mono pump is the rotor and stator. As the single helix rotor revolves eccentrically within the double helix of the stator, a continuous cavity is formed and progresses towards the discharge end of the pump as the rotor rotates.
Mono manufacture a large number of different pump ranges totalling in excess of 120 pump models, with flows ranging from 10 l/h up to 420,000 l/h. Differential pressures up to 48 bar are easily handled and for special applications, higher pressure pump designs up to 72 bar can be offered. The design principle also allows for the development of multi-stage pumps that increase the pressure handling capabilities.
Mono Merlin pump range
A well established and proven pump design, the Merlin Industrial pump range offers you an economic and compact model, with in-built modular flexibility and offering both free moulded or moulded to metal stators.
With 20 models available in both cast iron and stainless steel, this range is capable of handling applications up to 10 bar and capacities up to 60m3/h.
Features & Benefits
- Compact and rugged design for durability and reliable performance.
- Simple construction for ease of maintenance.
- Gentle pumping action helps maintain product integrity even with the most difficult materials.
Mono Munchers
The Muncher Family is a range of twin shaft, slow speed, high torque grinders. Each shaft is fitted with a series of interleaving cutters and spacers to give real 'positive displacement' solids grinding. Once solids became trapped in the slowly revolving cutter stacks, the differential speed of the cutter stacks pull apart fibrous material, crop and shear plastic into small pieces and crush friable or brittle material.
The Muncher is ideally suited to:-
- Protection of pumps prone to blockage
- High volume fine grinding of sewage and sludges
- Efficient disintegration of extracted screenings prior to treatment
- Bulk reduction, material reclamation and profit from waste
